Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania is the tallest free-standing mountain in the world and the highest peak in Africa. It’s a dormant volcano with three cones (Kibo, Mawenzi, and Shira), and you climb through five climate zones, from rainforest to arctic summit, in just a few days. I filmed the entire journey alongside my filming partner Spencer as we followed his dad, Carlos Moleda, and his former SEAL team brothers up the mountain. And on the final push, they made it to Uhuru Peak, the roof of Africa.
